(east side), Stoford
3/47 Stoford Farmhouse
Farmhouse. Mid C18, altered late C19. Pebbledashed chalk and
flint, tiled roof, gable end brick stacks. L-plan. Two-storey, 3-
windowed; sashes. Central 6-panelled door in moulded architrave
with flat wooden hood on brackets, 16-pane flush sash either side.
First floor has three 16-pane sashes. Left return has lean-to
porch with planked door, blocked attic window. Attached to right
is early C20 single-storey extension with hipped roof. Rear late
Cl9 service wing has 3-light casements, 12-pane sashes and glazed
door. Interior has late C19 stairs with turned balusters, in rear
