(north side), Serrington
3/69 Bridge House
GV II
Detached house. Circa 1700, north-west range dated BL/1777 on
tablet to rear left. Rendered, double Roman tiled roof, gable end
brick stacks. L-plan. Two-storey, 3-windowed front to C18 range.
Central glazed door, 16-pane sash either side. First floor has
three 2-light-casements. Late C17 range to right has 4-panelled
door to projecting gable end, right return of this build has
various casements. Rear has plaster date panel to gable end of C17
range, planked door with strap hinges to right in gabled porch, C18
range to right has various casements.
Interior has open fireplace and chamfered beam with stepped stops
to C17 range, late C18 range has 6-panelled doors and two Adam-
style fireplaces. Attached to front right is single storey
outbuilding with tiled roof and planked doors.
