GV II


Detached cottage. Early C17, rebuilt late C17. Square-panelled
timber-framing with brick nogging, dressed limestone and brick,
half-hipped thatched roof with brick stack. Single-storey and
attic, 3 windows. C20 porch to right of centre with 3-light
recessed chamfered mullioned casement with hoodmould to right and
two 2-light casements to left. Three eyebrow dormers with 2-light
casements to attic. Left return has 2-light casements and
attached C20 garage. Rear right has C20 extension in similar
style. Interior not accessible at time of survey (February 1986).
