2/21 The Manor House

GV II

Detached house. Early C19. Yellow Flemish bond brick, hipped
Welsh slate roof, gable end brick stacks. Parallel range plan.
Two-storey, 3-window. Central 6-panelled door with arched
fanlight in pilastered surround, 16-pane sash either side. First
floor has three 16-pane sashes, projecting brick quoins, moulded
wooden eaves cornice. Right and left returns have 2-light
casements and sashes. Rear service wing has 2-light casements,
dressed limestone, rear of main range has segmental-headed
casements and sash. Interior not accessible at time of survey
(February 1986).
