Church Cottage

House (formerly known as Church Farmhouse). Mid C17th, but remodelled mid C19th.
Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings; double Roman tiles roof with coped raised
verges. 1 storey and attics in 3 stone gables, with 2-light casement windows
with moulded stone mullions (C19th). 2- and 3-light casements on ground floor.
Plank door in project C19th, gables porch. Interior: Fireplace with large
moulded wooden lintel in parlour. Main bedroom has fireplace with depressed
4-centred arch lintel, moulded mantelshelf and adjoining stone aumbry.
