GV II


Detached house. Mid C18. Dressed limestone, thatched roof with
gable end brick stacks. Gable end to road, integral outshut. Two-
storey, 3-window south front. C19 conservatory with margin-pane
French windows, attached to right hand, 9-pane sashes and 6-
panelled door. First floor has three 2-light casements. Left
return has blocked doorway and single-light casement to left. Rear
C20 lean-to extension attached to left of outshut. Single-storey
thatched extension attached to right return. Interior not
inspected. Formerly the village smithy with the forge in attached
outbuildings.
