1/152 Dalwood Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Late C17. Rubble stone, double Roman tiled roof, coped
verges and gable end brick stacks. House with integral outshut on
north side. Two-storey, 2-window south front. Central planked
door in chamfered case within gabled porch, 3-light casement to
right and 2-light casement to Left. First floor has two 2-light
casements. Rear outshut has two 2-light wood mullioned casements
to ground floor. Left return has lean-to extension. Attached to
right return is cross wing with planked door and 2-light casements,
single-storey outhouses to right with stable doors and half-dormer
with 2-light casement.
Interior has chamfered beams with runout stops to ground and first
floors, blocked open fireplace to ground floor and square chamfered
stone fireplace to first floor. Winding stairs in outshut and on
south side of cross wing, planked doors.
