ST 92 SW (west side)

7/26 St. Andrew's Cottage


Detached house. Mid C18. Dressed limestone, half-hipped thatched
roof, brick stacks with toothed bands. L-plan. Two-storey, 4-
windows; sashes. Central half-glazed door with flat wooden hood
on iron brackets, C19 canted bay with 4-pane sash to left,
tripartite 12-pane sash and planked door to right. First floor has
tripartite sash and three flush 12-pane sashes in moulded
architraves. Right return and rear wing have 12-pane sashes.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (October 1985).
