7/56 Tudor Cottage


Three cottages, now one. Circa 1700. Dressed limestone with some
timber-framing to attic, half-hipped thatched roof, brick stacks.
Single storey and attic, 4-windows. Planked door to left, two 2-
light casements, one 3-light leaded casement and blocked doorway to
right. Timber-framed attic with brick nogging has three 2-light
casements and one 3-light casement. Left return has 2-light
casement to ground floor, timber-framed attic. Rear has planked
door and 3-light leaded casement. Early C20 rear wing in cavity
walled brick with thatched roof. Interior said to have chamfered
beams and open fireplaces.
