6/63 Coombe Cottage

GV II

Detached cottage. Late C17, altered C19. Dressed limestone,
thatched roof, gable end brick stacks. L-plan. Two-storey, 2-
window front. Central 6-panelled door in C20 glazed porch, 8-pane
tripartite sash to left and 4-pane sash to right, first floor has
two 2-light leaded casements. Right return has three 2-light
casements and C20 attic dormer, external brick stack. Left return
has C20 leaded casement. Rear has 2-light leaded casement within
C20 greenhouse, rear wing has planked door within greenhouse and 3-
light casement to left, raised eaves of attic has 3-light casement.
Interior said to have chamfered beams and open fireplaces.
