GV II

Gate piers with short flanking walls. Probably early C19.
Vermiculated limestone. Gate piers with corniced capping and
superimposed short plinths probably to missing finials, to either
side is short vermiculated wall with square vermiculated end piers.
Wooden gates to former carriage drive, to site of Fonthill
Splendens. Probably erected during the time of George Mortimer's
residence in one of the rebuilt pavilions of Splendens.
