1/98 Beckford Arms

GV II

Inn. Circa 1800. Limestone ashlar, tiled hipped roof, brick
stacks. Two-storey, 5-window; sashes. Central 6-panelled door in
moulded ashlar case, 5-sided bay with 12-pane sashes and one sash
to right, two 12-pane sashes to left. First floor has five 6-pane
sashes. Attached to right is 2-storey early C19 extension with 24-
pane flush sashes and 6-panelled door to ground floor, two 15-pane
sashes to first floor, hipped slate roof, C20 extension to front.
Left return has canted bay with 12-pane sashes to ground floor and
2-light casement to first floor. Rear has single storey C20 lean-
to extension, external stacks, sashes. Interior not inspected.
