9/118 No 4 Beckford Cottages

GV II

House at end of row. C18, altered C19. Dressed limestone, tiled
and Welsh slate roof, brick stacks. Two-storey , 2-window. C20
half-glazed door to right, blocked doorway and 2-light casement to
left. First floor has 12-pane flush sash and 2-light casement,
eaves of right part are raised in brick, probably C19. To right is
former stable in brick with blocked doorways and C20 Gothic-style
casements, boarded first floor. Rear in Flemish bond brick has
half-glazed door, C20 casement and 4-light casement to ground
floor, first floor has single casement, 16-pane sash and 3-light
casement, former stable to left has C20 first floor extension.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (December 1985).
