9/153 Spring Cottaqe and Roseneath

GV II

Pair of cottages at end of row. Late C18. Rendered brick, tiled
roof with hip to right and half-hip to left, brick stacks. L-plan.
Two-storey, 2-window. Spring Cottage has planked door and two 2-
light casements, Roseneath has C20 door and 2-light steel
casements. First floor has 2-light wooden and 2-light steel
casements. Right return has steel casements. Rear wing has steel
casements, flat-roofed C20 extension to Spring Cottage. Interior
not accessible at time of survey (December 1985). Included
primarily for group value.
