8/167 Willow Cottage

GV II

Detached cottage. Late C17, altered C19 and C20. Dressed
limestone, with English bond brick to gable end, half-hipped tiled
roof with brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-storey and attic,
3-window. Central blocked doorway with 3-light C20 mullioned
casement, 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to left and
restored one to right. First floor has 3-light casement either
side of 2-light casement. Two gable dormers with 2-light casements
to attic. Gable end to road has 3-light casements to ground and
first floors, 2-light casement to attic. Rear has lateral brick
stack. Attached to left is C20 single storey extension with porch
to present entrance. Interior not accessible at time of survey
(December 1985).
