TISBURY THE AVENUE

GV II

Detached house. Mid C17. Dressed limestone, asbestos tiled roof,
brick stacks. Single storey and attic, 5 windows. Ledged door in
chamfered stone surround and stone porch to centre, 3-light and two
2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements to right, including
one C20 replacement, to left is 2-storey gabled bay with 4-light
hollow-chamfered mullioned casements and sidelights to ground and
first floors. Full gabled dormer over door has 3-light mullioned
casement, now with steel casements, and hoodmould with blocked
single light over. To left is attached late C19 two-storey
extension. Right return has two single recessed chamfered
casements to attic. Rear has 2-storey gabled wing and C20 steel
casements. Interior said to have chamfered beams and open
fireplaces.
