GV II

Farmhouse, now detached house. Late C17, C19 and C20 alterations.
Dressed limestone, thatched roof with half-hip to left and coped
verge to right, stone and brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-
storey, 4-window north front. C20 door in C20 porch to left, 2-
light recessed chamfered mullioned casement and single recessed
chamfered casement to right of large lateral stone stack with
offsets. First floor has two 2-light casements to eyebrow dormers
to right, two 2-light casements to left. Attached to left is 2-
storey addition, possibly C18 bakehouse and projecting to left is
C20 garage and kitchen. Rear has 4-panelled door in chamfered
stone case with 3-light mullioned casement either side to left, to
right is 16-pane sash, C20 stable door, glazed door and 2-light
casements, first floor has two eyebrow dormers to left with 2-light
leaded casements and four 2-light casements and 3-light casement in
former loft door to right.
Interior has roughly chamfered beams, planked doors, three open
fireplaces with chamfered lintels on chamfered stone jambs, some
plank and muntin partitioning.
