Pair of semi-detached cottages. Mid C18 with c19 one-bay extension
to north. English bond brick with vitrified headers, half-hipped
thatched roof, brick stacks. Two-storey, 4-window. No 9 to right
has half-glazed door in weatherboarded porch with two C19 two-light
casements to right, No 10 has half-glazed door in C20 porch with
two 3-light leaded casements to right. First floor has two 3-light
leaded casements to No 10 and two C19 casements to No 9. Rear with
integral outshuts and timber-framed wall above. Left return in
dressed limestone with shuttered attic window.
Interior of No 10 has blocked open fireplace, some planked doors
and doors with fielded panels, good egg and dart moulded
architraves to door and window between main build and outshut,
probably reset.
