Summary


A late-C18 Granary constructed of brick with a tile roof, and set on staddle stones. Associated with Park Farm.

Description


A granary of late-C18 date.

MATERIALS: Timber-frame with weatherboard cladding and a tile roof.

DESCRIPTION: square on plan, this granary has a pyramidal roof. The building stands on staddle stones. There is a plank door on the east side, and the interior is boarded.



History


This granary building was constructed in the C18 and is associated with Park Farmhouse (qv.).

The Granary at Park Farm, of late-C18 date, is listed at Grade II for the following principal reasons:
* Historic interest: a good survival of a late-C18 granary building;
* Intactness: this building survives relatively intact for a building of this date and type;
