GV II
Congregational church. 1854, paid for by Charles Jupe. Dressed
limestone, Welsh slate roof with coped verges. Gable end to road
with entrance. Pointed moulded doorway with hoodmould, four
stepped trefoil-headed lancets with trefoils over, quatrefoil
above, angle buttresses, saddle back coping with crocketed finial.
Left and right returns have four lancets and buttresses. Lean-to
rear vestry with 4-pane sashes.
Interior retains original pews, reading desks at west end, 4-bay
roof with pseudo hammer beam trusses.
