II
Farmhouse. Late C17. Dressed limestone, tiled roof, gable end
brick stacks. T-plan. Two-storey, 3-window. Planked door to left
of centre, 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to left,
2-light and 3-light ovolo-mullioned casement to right. First floor
has 3-light mullioned casement either side of 2-light casement.
Date 1680 incised over door, probably C20 replacement of original
datestone. Left return has recessed chamfered opening with shutter
to attic. Right return has single ovolo-moulded casement to
attic. Added rear wing has hipped roof and casements, mid C19
lean-to added to west side.
Interior has chamfered beams, blocked open fireplace with bread
oven, blocked mullioned window on wall between C17 range and rear
wing.
