GV II
House and shop-in row. Late C18. Painted Flemish bond brick,
tiled roof with gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 3-window. C19
canted shop window to left, central double half-glazed doors, 3-
light casement and door with 6 fielded panels to right. First
floor has C20 casement, central 16-pane sash and 3-light casement
to right. Rear has two single-storey gabled wings. Attached to
right of front is cartshed with segmental-headed double planked
doors, circular pitching eye to loft over. Rear outhouses
reputedly used by the Hartgill Brewery, here until early C20.
