Experimental smallholder's dwelling. 1919-1920, for the Board of
Agriculture and Fisheries. Rough parged on concrete(?) blockwork,
tiled roof. Two storeys, 2 bays. 'L'-plan, filled out to square
under an extension of the roof to rear. Off-centre boarded door
with in situ concrete canopy on brackets. Paned metal windows with
tiled sills. Mid-wall band. Sprocketed and boxed eaves with
gutter on iron gutter brackets. Two rendered stacks. Walls
approximately 27cm thick. Interior not accessible at time of
inspection (May 1987).
