Cottage. Mid-late C17. Timber framed, the framing much replaced
with rendered chalkstone on flint footings, and brick to rear,
probably C18-early Cl9. Single storey and attic, 3 bays,
comprising a main living room with axial stack, an inner room now
subdivided, the north part containing stair, and kitchen in lean-to
addition beyond stack. Framing 2 panels high with straight corner
braces, now only visible in gable end. Half glazed door opposite
stack, with tiled open porch. Paned timber windows, and one flush
dormer. Brick stack, with hipped lean-to to west, and roof half
hipped to east.
Interior: Main fireplace blocked and ceiling beams boxed.
