Cottage. Late C17. Timber-framed with brick noggings, thatched
roof. Single storey and attic, 3 bays, comprising a living room
with axial stack, and originally unheated inner parlour. Service
room behind stack probably later addition, now containing lobby
entrance, a half glazed door and service door in C20 porch on gable
end. Framing 2 panels high with some corner braces, irregular
framing with tension brace to service end. Timber casement windows
and two flush gabled dormers to main bays. Roof half hipped, with
brick stack.
Interior: Spine beam to living room and parlour chamfered with
ogee stops, the partition removed. Jowled posts. Straight wind
braces to parlour end only. Stack rebuilt with open fireplace in
C20.
