Estate dwelling and workshop, now house. c1900, for Joseph
Lovibond of Lake House. In-situ chalk concrete with integrated
vertical timber framing. Tiled roof replacing thatch. 7 x 4 frame
bays. Entrance on north side, a door with glazed panel. Timber
paned casement windows. Brick stack at corner. Upper floor is
said to have originally been a weaving shed without intermediate
partitions. An unusual use of in-situ concrete.
