Cottage, probably once part of larger house. Circa C18, probably with earlier
fabric inside. Knapped flint front with red brick dressings. Thatched roof
with gabled ends. Stack on right with brick shaft. Plan: probably 1 room plan
with front lobby entrance against gable end stack on right. Probably originally
part of No 2 (qv) to right which is C16 or early C17 in origin. C20 extension at
rear. Exterior: 1 storey and attic, 1-window front. C20 3-light casements,
the top one under eyebrowed eaves. C20 door to right in segmental arch doorway,
large flat-roof extension at rear. Interior inaccessible at time of survey.
