9/67 Desmond House


2 houses and shop, being converted into 3 houses. Early C19. Coursed
ruble, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 bays. Between bays one and 2, 2 and
3, doorways with plain ashlar surrounds on plinths. Ground-floor bay 3:
late C19 shop window. Other windows, sashes with glazing bars with
projecting sills and sill-like lintels, small 6-pane windows on second
floor. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping to left, stacks at left land and
between bays 2 and 3. Being rehabilitated at time of re-survey.
