House and railings. Left-hand half of house dated 1777 on rainwater head on
rear elevation, rest slightly later. Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings,
stone slate roof, wrought-iron railings. House: 3 storeys, 3:2 bays, of
2 builds. Left-hand half: plinth, rusticated quoins. On all floors, sash
windows with moulded, eared and shouldered surrounds, half-size on second
floor, sill band to ground floor. Cavetto cornice. Right-hand half:
rusticated quoins to right; to left, part-glazed door in round-arched ashlar
surround with impost blocks and tripartite keystone. Sash windows in plain
ashlar surrounds: on ground floor, narrow window and Venetian window; on
first floor, sash and tripartite window; on second floor, Diocletian window.
Large, square dentilled cornice. Shaped kneelers, ashlar copings overall,
stacks at ends and between bays 3 and 4. House being re-roofed at time of
re-survey. In front, simple wrought-iron railings with urn finials to
standards.
