9/73 Manor House Stables
GV II

Stables. C18. Rubble with ashlar dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys,
4 first-floor openings. Quoins. 5 board stable doors in ashlar surrounds
with impost blocks to jambs and basket soffits to lintels; weather course
above. Ground floor: 8 side-sliding sash windows in plain ashlar surrounds.
First floor: outer 2 openings contain board doors in ashlar surrounds with
impost blocks to jambs, that to right with projecting loading step supported
on 2 corbels. Small part-shuttered square windows in plain ashlar
surrounds. Plain cornice supported on modillions. Shaped kneelers, ashlar
copings, stacks at ends and centre.
