House. Probably C16 with later alterations. Rubble on boulder plinth,
Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, L-shaped plan. Main elevation: 3 first-floor
windows. Quoins. Projection on left perhaps garderobe. Ground floor:
doorway with chamfered jambs now 2-light window; moulded surround to 3-light
mullioned window, now widened, with side-sliding sash in centre; inserted
doorway and window with voussoired lintels. First floor: projecting stack
on weathered corbels; 2-light flat-faced mullioned windows in moulded
surrounds. Ridge stack between windows 2 and 3. Left return: 3-light
casement window in moulded surround on ground floor, 2-light casement window
in surround of 2-light double-chamfered mullioned window on first floor;
sundial in gable. Left elevation of rear wing: small C20 porch, moulded
surround to part-glazed door; 3-light double-chamfered mullioned window on
ground floor with small shield above; 2-light casement wimdow in chamfered
surround and side-sliding sash on first floor. End return of rear wing:
large projecting stepped chimneybreast. Interior: ground-floor room in rear
wing has bolection-surround fireplace, pointed-arched doorway to main range,
moulded chamfered beams and joists to floor above.
