Chimney of lead smelting mill. 1848. Rubble. Square in plan, and
approximately 12 metres high, slightly tapering in section. Semicircular
arch of rubble voussoirs over opening to flue, cornice near top. Flue from
Cobscar Mill was joined in 1855 by extended flue from Keldheads Mill, nearly
2 miles to south-east. Arthur Raistrick, The Lead Industry of Wensleydale
