T-shaped plan of a hall to the north and a cross-wing across its southern
end. South elevation: 2 first-floor windows. Quoins. Central 6-panel door
with inscription on lintel "M.G. 1831". To its right, on ground floor, a 4-
light double-chamfered window with hoodmould. Door and other openings have
deep stone lintels with herringbone tooling. To left, 2-light casement
window set into blocked doorway. First floor: C20 casement windows. Ashlar
copings. End stacks, that to right corniced. Right return of cross-wing:
external stepped stack, with plinth to right of it. East side hall range:
on ground floor, 3-light C20 casement window replacing window of 3 ogee-
headed lights. West side hall range: at north end, blocked doorway with 4-

doorway. Interior: hall divided, partly by stud partition. Large fireplace
not visible. In hall and present kitchen, beams richly moulded with run-out
