attached byre

Farmhouse and byre under 1 roof. c1700, altered late C18. Rubble on
boulder plinth, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. House: 2 bays. Quoins.
Openings have ashlar surrounds. Central C20 part-glazed door in
surround with splayed bases to jambs. Sash windows. End stacks. Rear
outshut for stairs has mullioned windows. Byre to left partly projects
forward as outshut. Old board 2-panel door in ashlar surround with
diagonal tooling and interrupted jambs to byre, similar doorway to
outshut. Shaped kneelers and copings to building overall.
