House, subsequently divided into 2. Dated 1682, restored 1905. Rubble, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys with rear outshut. 2 first floor windows. Central doorway
with ashlar quoined surround, triangular soffit to lintel, on lintel
'T C 1682 --' and door. To right, inserted doorway. Windows originally mullioned, with
C20 restored 4-light window to ground floor, and outshut raised and enlarged
substantial remains of 3-light window on first floor right, and other fragments,
now sash windows. Fire window on left. End stacks. Rear: outshut raised and
enlarged; stone surrounds to windows, originally barred and with external shutters
(because abutting line of old road): deep cellar below. Interior: reputedly a
large fireplace to left, but interior inaccessible at time of visit.
