9/91 Tumbling Well

- II

Well. C18 spout and trough: mid-late C19 surround. Ashlar. Stone spout
with ogee head discharging into sunken trough. On either side a flat
surface for vessels. Round-arched surround with rear wall in which is set a
marble slab inscribed with a biblical text set in chamfered frame. Slab
coping to upper surface of surround.
