Farmhouse and cottage. C18. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys.
Farmhouse: early C18. 2 first-floor windows. Central C20 gabled porch with
4-panel door. To right, board door in chamfered quoined surround with
bench-mark on right jamb. Inclined dripmould above. Between, C20 casement
window in ashlar surround with moulded chamfer. To left, ashlar surround to
2-light flat-faced mullion window. Continuous hoodmould runs behind porch.
First floor: 16-pane sash windows. Stone gutter brackets. End stacks with
projecting capping. To left, cottage: late C18. 2 first-floor windows.
Quoins to left. To right, door in C20 concrete surround. To left, 4-pane
sash window in made-up C18 ashlar surround. First floor: 16-pane sash
windows in plain ashlar surrounds. Stone gutter brackets. End stack with
projecting capping to left, projecting on corbels from first floor of left
return. Stone window mullions, probably removed from house, stacked on
garden wall at time of resurvey.
