NY 80 SE MUKER KELD

7/144 Former Chapel School

GV II

Former School. Dated 1847. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof. Single
storey, 3 bays, with lower projecting gabled porch. Ashlar quoins. Entry
in right return of porch. 4-pane sash window in porch. 9-pane casement
windows. Ashlar copings. End stack to right. To left gable, bellcote with
heart-shaped openings inscribed "W. A. METCALFE A.D. 1847". Included for
group value.
