Laundry block, now outbuilding. c1765. By John Carr of York for Sir
Marmaduke Wyvill. Ashlar sandstone, stone slate roof. 2-storey, 2-bay
central block with single-storey 3-bay flanking wings set back. Plinth.
Sash windows with glazing bars, and 6-pane sash on first floor of central
block. First-floor band. Cornice bands. Roof hipped at ends and to
central block. Central cemented chimney-stack rising from central block.
Entrances in returns.
