Memorial. Early C19. For the Duke of Leeds. Sandstone ashlar.
Rectangular in plan, in section tapering towards the bottom, with raised
panelled top. Longer sides have a fielded panel, that on east side bearing
inscription commemorating Stephen Walton d1817 and Martha Greaves d1820,
"Good & faithfull Servants at Hornby Castle", flanked by fluted pilasters.
Shorter ends have a smaller fielded panel flanked by fluted pilasters.
