8/59 Thornfield House


House. Early-mid C18 with later alterations. Sandstone rubble with ashlar
dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. Quoins.
Central part-glazed 6-panel door in C18 quoined chamfered surround. 4-pane
sash windows in altered chamfered surrounds. Shaped kneelers; ashlar coping
to left. Brick end stacks. Included for group value.
