GV II

House. Mid-late C18, with later additions and extensions. Coursed
sandstone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Openings have ashlar
surrounds with keystones. Sash windows with glazing bars, that in centre on
ground floor in a former doorway, chamfered and with interrupted jambs.
Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. Rendered end stacks. Right return: part-
glazed door in ashlar surround on bases, with inverted shields on lintel,
and with large slab cornice supported on corbels. C20 drawing room and
conservatory to left, and C20 rear nursery wing, not of special interest.
