Pair of houses. Early - mid C19th. Ashlar; hipped slate roof behind parapet,
cornice. 3 storeys. 4 bays, outer bays in 2-storey wings, that to No. 144 is
set back. Large pane sash and modern window on ground floor; upper floors,
mixture of 12 and 16 pane glazing bar sashes. Door to No. 144 is in setback
wing: 5 panel door in doorcase with Tuscan pilasters; pediment.
