7/36 Lime-kiln approximately
15 metres south-east of
St Simon's Chapel ruins


Disused lime-kiln. C18. Sandstone rubble. Circular in plan, with V-shaped
hearth under segmental arch. In the top a circular hole, access to which is
by a ramp from Sleight Lane. The lime-kiln served the quarry behind it.
