Cottage. C17, with later alterations. Rubble, stone slate roof.
2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. Plinth. Very rough quoins. Ground
floor, from left: 3-light double-chamfered mullion window; C20 part-glazed
door; 3-light double-chamfered mullion window; 12-pane casement window.
First floor: 9-pane casement windows. End stack to right. Interior:
visible in ground-floor room to right, ashlar fireplace with mantelshelf
supported on cyma reversa corbels. North Yorkshire and Cleveland Vernacular
Buildings. Study Group Report No 177.
