Marked as The Cottage on Ordnance Survey map. Cottage. Late C17 - early
C18. Rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. Plinth.
Quoins to left. C20 part-glazed door to right. Ground floor, to left: 4-
pane sash window in double-chamfered surround; to its right, possibly a
blocked door or window. First floor: 4-pane sash window in surround of 2-
light double-chamfered mullion window; 4-pane sash window with slab sill and
lintel. End stack to left. Included for group value. North Yorkshire and
Cleveland Vernacular Buildings Study Group Report No 177.
