Stable for farm horses with granary above, now farm building. Early-mid
C18, of 2 builds. Red sandstone, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 4:4 internal
bays. West elevation: on ground floor, 3 board stable doors and 3 shuttered
openings; on first floor, 6 part-glazed shuttered openings with segmental
arches of brick headers. Raised verges with reverse crowstepping. Rear: to
left of centre, 2 blocked doorways with segmental arches of brick headers on
ground floor; 6 first-floor openings as before. Left return: leaved board
doors in segmental-arched cart opening. Right return: external steps up to
first-floor board door to granary. Interior: unstrutted triangular roof
trusses in southern half; king-post roof trusses in northern half.
