GV II
Gate piers. Late C17 - early C18, C20 restoration. Ashlar sandstone.
Square piers, top of eastern one rebuilt, with banded chamfered rustication
and with torus banding to front and back. Ionic friezes. Western capital:
dentilled below moulded cornice, convex plinth to ball finial. Eastern
capital: plain cornice, chamfered base to ball finial.
