House. Early C18 with later alterations. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof.
3 storeys, 1 bay. Quoins. On ground floor to right: part-glazed 6-panel
door in renewed plain ashlar surround with hood above of slabs forming open
pediment on brackets. Window openings have flat arches and projecting
ashlar sills; on ground and first floors, 16-pane sashes in exposed boxes;
smaller 12-pane casement on second floor. At eaves to left, fluted
rainwater head embossed with initials "IDW". Shaped kneelers, ashlar
coping. Rebuilt end stacks. On gable of right return, water-tabling of
steeply pitched roof of Ivy Cottage (qv).
