GV II

House. Late C18 - early C19. Coursed dressed sandstone, stone slate roof.
2 storeys, 2 bays, with C20 wing added to rear left. Quoins. Central
6-panel door in ashlar surround with bases, and with glazed outer door.
Sash windows with glazing bars in raised ashlar surrounds. Ashlar coping.
End stacks, that to left rebuilt in brick. Interior: beaded joists in front
room to left of door; steep dogleg staircase with stick balusters and
bracketed strings. North Yorkshire and Cleveland Vernacular Buildings Study
